Italian Old Shuttle Loom Purple Checks Shirt

If you've always wanted to wear dark clothes to work but didn't know where to start, this purple Gingham with a blue base is a good piece of clothing to start with. The fabric is originally made using a shuttle loom and combines a smooth feel with a subtle sheen, to ensure comfort and style whatever the setting.

Discover our collection of men's shirts, we have selected from limited stocks of the smaller width old shuttle loom fabrics. Using these older, slower looms, the fabric is only approximately 77cm wide; half of what a normal roll would be, which means that a shirt maker uses much more fabric than usual – which evidently increases the price which we have managed to control due to a limited stock we have purchased from the mill.

These fabrics are 100% cotton and imbued with a personal touch of workers using traditional techniques. But it’s unique in terms of comfort, evoking the softness of cashmere and the most precious silk.
